Short week
Well FORTUNATELY this is going to be a short week! SO excited! YAYAYAYAYA
Weekend went by FAR too quickly (again) and that's annoying. Still have 10 million chores to do, but oh well. Really in the big picture, it's not that important...most of it.
I did start going car shopping on Sunday. Barry was WONDERFUL at helping me look at the right stuff and keep the sales guys OFF my back and pressuring me into something I didn't want.
It's AMAZING all the crap that they add onto the price of a car "just 'cuz". So ya, I looked at Fords yesterday, looking at Mazda's next, and then maybe one or two other types. Not "STUCK" on one particular car yet, just want something affordable, with GREAT gas mileage, and reliable. Weird being in a new car though. It's hard to look at spending THAT kind of money when my car isn't technically dead yet, but she is getting really old and doesn't handle the Seattle Winters well. THinking I"ll have my mom come and get her while I"m out on surgery leave, that way it's an excuse to visit ME! :-D she's going to hit 211K this month. Really proud of that.
I remember in college I just kept saying "Get me through college and a few paychecks into my first job!" :-P I guess she surpassed that.
Mom wants her to hit 300K, I kinda think she might be able to do it. I don't know how much MONEY mom will have to throw at it, but oh well.
Anywho, other than that, I got new sheets that SUCK so I slept on my couch last night, becasue I was too lazy to switch at 12:30am! Got to work by 5:30 and now on 3 cups of coffee and feeling VERY dehydrated.
okay, back to work, break over.....
