First Spain Post
Hi guys! I'm finally in Spain (and already experiencing epic language fail. I knew I should've minored in Spanish)! My flight was amazing...I had all three seats to myself from LAX to my layover in London, so I stretched out and watched The Hangover, The Big Bang Theory, and Black Books (hooray for being on a British Airways flight!) and then for the first time ever I got an okay night's sleep on an airplane.
My "tutora," Esther, and Xavi, one of the guys I'm living with, met me at the airport and drove me to my apartment. Esther speaks pretty good English, which is a huge relief because Xavi hardly speaks any! Tonight has been the most awkward mix of Spanglish ever. My Spanish is extremely horrible. But he's really nice and cooked me dinner!
Tomorrow I'm going to see the school with Esther. I live only 5 minutes away! Then, hopefully, I will go buy a cell phone and other things to spruce up my room, which is very white and has that just-moved-in look. So no pictures until some sprucing has been done, sorry guys! :p That's all for now. Tomorrow I really start getting used to things!
