It's obvious that I don't like Sarah Palin. At. All.
However, perhaps I should TRY (try being the operative word because so far it isn't working) to stop being so strident and Just. Let. Go. of this argument and start over. I don't know why I can't seem to let this one go, I really don't. It's not like me, but I hear that name and I just get into this Anti-Sarah-Palin overdrive. Well, anyways.

Hi everyone. Things are good on the personal level. Radiation stopped 3 weeks ago, thankfully. I won't go into detail about how bad my radiation burns were. Suffice it to say that there's still some wee healing to do (not much, but a little) which means that they were, yep, really really (really!!!) bad. If anyone says that they're just like a bad sunburn, well, then it's an individual thing, and that's when I need to stop before I get graphic and feeling sorry for myself about it all over again.
OK, moving on. The last few appointments with the oncologist have gone very well and she's been very positive. I've asked her about my Cancer Tumor Markers and both in September and October they were at the NORMAL level. NORMAL. So that's good news, very good news. I'm scheduled for a CT scan on Dec. 4 and I hope and pray that I have even better news to report after that.
Oh, and Nate turned 7 on November 14. Craziness, my little guy is growing up. He's in first grade and doing very well there. Of course.
That's about it for now because I'm still doing maintenance chemotherapy (just one drug) until June. I'm also taking Tamoxifen which suppresses estrogen. Anyways, I have to get ready for my chemo appointment.
Later!
