[oh hey, he recognises this particular floofy pink dress-wearing girl and does indeed approach.]

In a sour mood, are we?

Hello again, Charles.

A little, yes.

[a slight nod of greeting] Whatever for? God knows this place offers an endless parade of idiots and foul circumstances to destroy one's mood.

I'm used to others being idiots. It bothers me when my own are.

Ah, that is entirely unavoidable at times, moreso here than elsewhere. But you seem to possess the qualities of a proper leader, surely you'll manage to reign them in before their antics grow worse, yes?

Of course!

Perhaps. Maybe. I... am not sure I should. Or even if I should, I am certain they will not like it.

[laughs....] Not many like being told what to do, but that is one of the responsibilities a leader must shoulder, is it not?

Of course, if it is what is best for them and the group.

[A sigh]

But... I'm not sure what's best for them is the same as what's best for the group.

Having to make decisions like that fall under your responsibilities as well, I'm sure. [she seems genuinely distraught over it though, so he bites back any sarcastic quips.] Does it weigh heavily on you? Having to make such decisions, I mean.

Yes. Well, I mean. I know what I'd decided but... I'm not entirely sure it's my decision to make. It is... somewhat personal to them.

It sounds like a terrible headache. [shufflin over to take a seat beside her, though he still minds his distance.]

But I suppose if it's truly out of your hands, there's no sense in fretting. Hopefully your associates will be wise enough to know how to choose what's best. ...Or at the very least, what would cause the least damage.

That's the issue - by nature of the problem, they're judgment is somewhat compromised.

Well then, you've a right recipe for disaster on your hands. [HELPFUL.]

Wonderful.

[oh, he's trying his best to hold back a snicker now... he knows how irritating it is to be in her situation, but her reaction is kind of hilarious.]

I do hope things manage to work out in as clean a way as possible, though everything in this city seems to go the exact opposite way you'd want.

Hmph, I don't see how it could go cleanly; it's already a mess.
