Not in so many words, but basically I've more than one person I know falling prey to this foolishness. Especially one I thought was above that.

People can start to do pretty weird things once they fall in love. I guess you could almost say that it's a little bit like a curse.

Death is impermanent here, so I don't see what the big deal is. It'd be as bad as a long nap.

[She's suffered wounds that would kill a normal person before, so it's not like the pain would be anything new either]
