Several random observations:

1) Do you use Firefox to browse with? If so have you installed this amazing wizardry? http://www.piclens.com
A seriously excellent way to view images without the clunkiness of the Google Image search. I've just installed it and typed in Tom Welling for the search and oh my. Got my own personal art gallery of Tom right ( Read more... )

Per #6: Michael's tats are the names of his grandmothers. One is Blanche and the other is Ruth! At one point, the last time Tom Arnold got married, all of his friends had "fake" tattoos that said "Shelby" on them (Tom's last wife) which has caused much confusion over time.

And aren't his arms HOT???

Awwww that's so sweet. Thanks for answering that question. Just confirms the genuinely nice guy that he is for me. I went all gooey over his taking his family to Disneyland speech. And yeah his arms are all hot and fascinating with the veiny skin.

Holy crap this Twilight thing?!?!? I finally gave in and went to Borders today at the Time Warner Center to buy the books. Of course I had no idea that the new book is coming out at midnight or whatever, but the store is MOBBED and the author was there and they were recording a podcast while the weirdest combination of 12 year old girls and 50 year old women crowded around and squealed. I had to leave before my ears started to bleed. Is it that awesome?

Well that depends on what you mean by awesome *g* You will either love it or hate it. And if you are like me (a 34 year old who loves it) you are probably going to conclude that this might become one of your guilty pleasures. All the criticisms of it (the well constructed crit where articulate people actually give their objections to it in a rational way) are absolutely applicable (Apart from the extremists who insist this series is dangerous for young girls). Yet I still love it. Maybe this is my equivalent to watching soapies? (That's if you think soapies are absolute rubbish). I'm addicted to them, not afraid to admit it, I am afraid of the rabid fans but living down under means I am probably safe. I saw a post on fandom secrets that actually made sense. Someone when they read the first book (in Bella's point of view) pretended the whole thing was just some drug induced hallucinogenic dream of Bella's and they found they enjoyed it. It helps if you love Edward too. So yeah I would like an Edward of my own. He does have quite a lot ( ... )

I think your layout is awesome. I love the vividness of your pictures, and the overall color scheme. Mine really needs tweaking, but probably more than I'm capable of. I'll have to find another one instead.

My daughter's friends are at one of the bookstores for the Twilight stuff. My daughter refuses to even read it. Not that she's a book snob, she doesn't like reading *any* books. *sigh*

I"m going to check out that FF add-on and see if I can figure it out. It looks interesting, thanks!
