well, i'm obviously happy at the re-election of 'W, but displeased by the large amount of sleep i lost in the process. Luckily I have tomorrow off, w00t. I was supposed to go to court for my divorce, but now i've been informed i don't have to be there, but I might go anyway. If nothing else just to piss off sarah's father, b/c he is going to be there as a witness that we have not been together for the last year. He hates me b/c he is a two faced christian, which is disappointing. It's amazing that someone who professes to be such a great christian, and believe me, he professes it. Rather it's more like rubbing it in everyone's face. Anyway, but he can't seem to even treat me with respect, much less forgive me for an indescretion. So anyway, as of tomorrow at about 11:15 am i will be a single man again.

The house I'm living in is going good, i have heat now!! And now for a story that can only be labeled as a miracle. They had to shut my electric off over last weekend to replace the electrical box which was just plain scary looking. So no problem, I went to Philadelphia to stay with my brother. I came back Sunday and I knew that power wasen't going to be on until Monday so it was no biggie. I took the kiddies trick-or-treating and then went to my mom's house to spend the night. Well Monday I got home from work and had a sick feeling when I got there, the generator was still running for the guys (they were hanging siding). So I knew right away that the power was not back on yet. Brandon told me that the BG&E guy came out before he got there and said he would not hook us back up b/c they had tampered with the meter box and ran new cables and it had to be inspected first. They had tampered with the meter box b/c they had to take it off to hang siding behind it, and then ran a new feed cable, not them, but Eli who is an electrician. But to get an inspection you have to pull a permit, and only a master electrician can do that, which Eli is not. Eli got a co-worker of his, who is a master, to come out, but he said he would not pull a permit b/c there was work done in the rest of the house, and if an inspector comes in the house, he can inspect anything and he would be held liable. So, we're screwed, actually i'm screwed since i'm the one that has to live there and i have no power. So Brandon hatched a plan that he would go to the bank and get some money out to bribe the BG&E guy. We found the old seal off the meter box in the trash can and by an obvious miracle, a new metal piece that hooks in, there not suppose to leave them around, b/c that way you can re-insert them in the tag to make it look unbroken. Because the only way to get the tag off the box is to cut the metal hook. So we reconnected it to the box. I went to get my kids for sympathy and Brandon was going to call BG&E as I got close to getting back. Well while I'm gone, Brandon is on the phone with Clay standing out in the yard when a BGE truck goes by, turns around and then asked Brandon if this was the right address. Now, we never called BGE back. So they came and looked at it, it was so incredibly obvious that is was brand new work, it was dark outside, but these guys are professional and not stupid. After some obvious thinking and talking about it and around this time I showed back up with my kids, they hooked us up!! They said that they had seen the work order laying on the table back at the office and it haden't been closed so they thought they better come out and take care of it. It had never been entered in that someone had already been out earlier in the day. Quite a miracle, and to explain it anyother way would be diminishing the work God did here. I mean, just as Brandon was about to call them, they showed up on there own. We were planning on lieing to them, bribing them and doing whatever it took to get the power back on. But God did in his own way without us having to be dishonest at all. Simply amazing.

So anyway, back to the house, I have heat now, I'm starting to get siding, it's starting to come together, the siding looks great, makes it look like a new house.

I get the boys this weekend, and i'm so excited. We are going to go see the incredibles, and go to the library and who knows what else. I love em so much.
