Damn.... We have a situation, then. You should probably get told. Some people are in a place that looks just like the City, but it's not actually the City. They're also acting different over there.

Well, like someone that's normally patient and kind is acting impatient and rude. And one guy I know is being really cruel and eager to fight, but that's not like him at all. Then I've got another friend trapped over there, but I can't see any difference....

What... Is there any way to get over there? Or to bring them back here?

[Frowns and looks down at the water he's sitting in.]

No. We haven't been able to find a way or get them moved, nothing. But if you look down at the water here in the fountain.... [Points.] You can see them in the other City, like they're right there. But they're not here. It's just too weird.

I kept thinking the fountain might lead me over there somehow. It doesn't seem to be working, though, and I'm getting cold.

[looks as he points, seeing what he's talking about] ...That doesn't make any sense.

But you can still communicate with them? I guess they wouldn't know anything about it, either... Fuu was always better with this kind of thing. Maybe there's someone who knows more about what we should do, if the fountain isn't working.

Yeah, it's all kinda weird. And creepy.

And we can communicate with them over the network, but some of them don't think they're in a different City or don't care. I have yet to hear any other theories, but we've got a few people trying to work things out.

[nods and looks at the fountain again because... damn it, what a crappy time to come back to the City] We'll figure something out if this isn't over by midnight.

[Frowns again.] That's kinda what I'm worried about, though. See...last curse kinda like this one was the one where everyone was on the sinking ship. We couldn't find them or get to them.
