Squee!
So, after my initial freakrightthefuckout, I'm finally back to my happy place.
I've got a place to move to in June. Rent is totally something I can swing, and the owner has told me that I won't have to pay for utilities if I tend the garden. (yeah, twist my arm, right?)
It's in San Jose, in a moderately large house. The house is old, and has been lived in by males alone for several years, so it needs a good scrubbing, and some real furniture. But that said, it's got an amazing amount of potential. The windows are big and lovely. The natural light that comes with that makes me very happy.
So, items I will need for this place are as follows...
If anyone knows of where I might be able to find stuff like this on a smallish budget, let me know?
A good couch-type thing. Doesn't have to be pretty, but comfy is important.
A small dining room table and chairs.
A couple open-backed bookcases. (skandia type, but I don't quite have that kind of money)
A sturdy coffee table.
A few area rugs.
Also, I will probably need help with scrubbing and/or moving stuff in early and mid June. Any takers? There might be tasty bribes...
Also, I think I need a new emotion theme. The more I use the little girl one that I've got, the less impressed with it I am. Like, why does she look alarmed for the emotion Determined?
