Little victories
Why do people hang around in the entrance to petrol stations waiting to see which pump will be free first?. Just went to fill up at Sainsburys and this guy was just parked in the entrance to the station. 3 other cars queued up behind him and as I joined the back of the queue I was stuck on the roundabout blocking other traffic.
I blew my horn and nothing happened. So I pulled out, overtook all the other cars went in to the station and queued up behind one of the pumps. Imagine my smugness when the cars in the pumps in front of me pulled away almost immediately and I was straight on to a pump! hahahaha brightened my day anyway.
It's been ages since I've posted anything here. tbh not much has been happening. We had a bit of snow which was exciting for a few days. Now it's just freezing cold but too dry for snow. Once bit of news is that I finally got a promotion in work. From 1st April I will be section manager. actually got a bit of a pay rise too. I'm looking forward to getting involved with all the accounts in the office. I like to know everything so it should be good.
Mum and Dad are away for the weekend so it's just me and the cats. Karen texted me earlier and we're meeting for coffee this afternoon in Chipping Sodbury. I had already decided to walk up but it's a good job cos I drove down the high street earlier and it's really busy. Looks like they have a market or something going on. It's funny, it's really not that far away but I hardly ever go up there so it'll make a change.
Right lunch is nearly ready. Weightwatchers ready meal with some extra veg - that's about the limit of my cooking!
