Here we go again then
23rd December 2009. The day Michael announced his comeback. As overjoyed as I was I knew that at some point I would have to go through the whole retirement thing again.
Well now is the time. Last week there was the Lewis announcement. Initially I thought that would mean Michael retiring and I thought that I had accepted that even though there were rumours of him joining another team but on Thursday i got in to work and Dan said 'have you heard the news?' I had to try and look like it didn;t bother me that much but I felt like I'd been hit in the stomach.
In one way it's a relief that I now know what's happening but I just wish he'd done at least another year. I know I will still watch F1 without him because I did before but I'm so going to miss seeing him race. I'm just glad I booked Austin. Will be the worst post GP depression afterwards though
