Overdue entry
Keep meaning to post on here and then I get distracted by something else.
Got up this morning to watch the Chinese GP. Great to have it live on the BBC. I was all set up in the lounge with the race on the TV and then the timing screen on my lap top. Absolutely gutted for Michael though. He's not having any luck at the moment. That's the 3rd race he's had a bad result due to things not his fault. It's worse by the fact that the car is so much better this year. Qualifying has been excellent. Didn't want Nico to get the first win for Mercedes but actually now that he has I realise that it's not important. Just seeing Michael win again is enough. Had a feeling that Ross wouldn't be the one to go up on the podium. Think he's waiting for Michael to win. Oh well at least there's another race next week but it'll be a lot warmer so I don't know how the Mercedes will do. Just some decent points would be good tbh.
Am starting to get prepared for Monaco now. Not that I want to wish the year away but I'm so looking forward to it. Need to apply for the Stars n Bars pass this week. Then I just need to sort out the airport parking and my travel insurance. Am very seriously considering the US GP in November. I've booked the time off work but I'm going to wait until the FIA check the circuit in June and give it the go ahead before I book anything. Looks like I may have company too from bmw_babe as I got a text from her last week asking if I fancied it - well funny you should mention it.....
and of course it wouldn't be an F1 season without Silverstone. Ticket is booked for that one. Looks like it'll just be me and helen_t unless we can persuade anyone else before then. Hope the weather is better this year.
Well gotta go. The footie is on and Spurs are playing. Cam you believe my sister is actually at Wembley working. She says she won't see any of the game but stil....*jealous*
