.) First period, do not look at the door repeatedly, waiting for him to walk in. If he shows up he'll walk in and sit across from you because it's his new seat, and the reason you aren't going to learn anything in Spanish on Wednesdays.
.) Do not look sad. At all. That makes people ask, what's wrong? Are you sad because he's absent?
.) Do not say his name. Just don't. Even if a teacher asks who's absent. Someone else can answer it.
.) Don't twist your head too fast when you hear his name from anyone, you'll look dumb.
.) This is the hard one, try really hard not to miss him. If you don't miss him you don't have to worry about doing any of the above.
.) By Sixth Period, it should be OBVIOUS that he's not coming to school today, and he's ABSENT so stop looking at the damn door.
.) If someone mentions him, oh my gosh all of a sudden you're really thirsty and have to go. Fast.
.) That's not his voice... Keep walking.
.) Do not IM him the first 10 minutes he's online, asking him why he is absent. It'll be hard but hey maybe he'll IM you before 10 minutes. It happens.
.) Do not whine to friends, that he isn't on yet, and it's 9:42. Just be quiet. You'll talk to him eventually.
