friday: worked until 5, was going to stay for the art opening and $5 lemon martinis but i got a call from my mom saying she was sick and couldn't babysit so i came to the rescue. first time that it was just me watching both kids. i don't know how my sister-in-law does it. it's hard! but it went well and was fun.
saturday: worked for about an hour or two, then lunch with thenewfiction at mangia. then home to get ready for my cousin's wedding. george met the family. it went well. he learned that being a sarcastic smart-ass runs in my family. got home from reception around 9, debated going out, fell asleep watching the sopranos, still wearing my dress.
sunday: easter with the family. cute baby in dress, crabby toddler who did not nap. tonight i am going back to my parents' to visit with my cousins from denver who are driving through town on their way to maryland. that's a lot of family time for one weekend.
my car is leaking something. it's in the shop across the alley right now. pray that it is not an expensive repair.
