-Josh and I spent two hours at the grocery store last night. It's a different one than we usually go to, so we're still learning the layout, and it was super crowded. We had lofty ideas of dinner: First grilled chicken, then pita pizzas, then turkey burgers. Sadly, by the time we staggered home, we were both so exhausted I had a frozen dinner and he had a hot pocket. I sat on the couch in a daze and fought to stay awake through (an admittedly charming episode of) Castle. I've decided that on days where he does his strength routine, I'll join him, and on cardio days, I'll use the machines at the gym. So tonight, we're off to Dick's for strength bands.
-I have lots of filing and organizing to do today. Oh boy. *notes it's 11:30* *facepalm*
-Are you a gay teen and getting bullied? Email dp@tapout.com, and tell this MMA fighter. He'll come to your school and arrange a chat with your bullies. He's now saying he won't beat kids up, but he's still offering to make a difference.
-A homeless American living in Paris has an iPad. After reading his point of view on it, I have to say, it makes sense to me. We've evolved technologically to a point where this actually possible. There's further discussion about legality (his visa expired) and taxes etc, but just as immigrants picking fruit aren't really taking jobs from Americans, neither is this guy taking jobs from the French. I don't think his life is for me, but good on him for carving his own niche.
