Late Edition
-misch asked for my mailing address a little bit ago, and the thing he sent arrived! In it was this SomeEcard, on which he'd written, "You left this at the Ridge." In the envelope was a FRFF 2010 shirt and some stickers. I may or may not have gotten a little choked up.
-Due to a mis-communication between the Fantastic Fest people and my co-workers, we weren't able to get Josh a badge. Poot. We still could have seen MC Frontalot, but he wasn't going on until midnight, so we bailed. But! Not before having a delicious dinner with classic cocktails at the High Ball. Dang, that place is awesome.
-The Saints lost today, which was a total bummer, though one that was mitigated by the present company. I got to meet lowercaseyou and her boyfriend! I joined them at the local Saints bar for delicious noms and a frustrating game.
-Yesterday, Josh and I officially became a cohabitating couple by going on our first excursion to IKEA. We went in search of chairs, found a few we liked, as well as possible candidates for curtains. We bought a bunch of random housewares, and then went to Sears and bought a vacuum. OH AREN'T WE FASCINATING.
