Dancing With The Demons Hiatus Continues
Just thought I'd pop on and put the word out that 1) I'm still alive 2) DWTD has NOT been abandoned and 3) DWTD will not be returning for a while still!
For those multitudes out there who've been wondering, I started an Occupational Therapy Assistant program in August and I don't think I have ever been so f-ing busy in my life. At least I don't remember being this busy. Of course we tend to remember the good things when we're being nostalgic for past days, so maybe that's it. Of course, I'm also old enough to be nostalgic for past days, and old enough to have a decent number of past days to be nostalgic for, so maybe that's also why I'm not remembering clearly.
Anyhow, the upshot is that even though I do still get the occasional bunny popping into my head, there is almost no chance of my acting on said leporid* until Summer. So there we have it.
But I still intend to resume-- this time possibly with music. Does this "embed media" give me the ability to have you listen to the song that the characters are dancing to? I'll have to investigate. 'Cause that would be seriously cool if it does.
*I was going to say "rodent" and then I thought "I wonder if rabbits are really considered rodents." So, true to my somewhat distractable nature, I spent the next 15 minutes or so finding out that as of about 1912 it was decided that rabbits were not rodents after all, but warranted their own classification in the family Leporidae as follows:
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Lagomorpha
Family: Leporidae
And all this, while interesting, will help me not one whit when I take my anatomy exam on Friday, which I was supposed to be studying for right now instead of looking up Bugs' family tree.
