How quick does time fly?
Somehow eventually I always find myself retreating to the comforts of my blog, spewing out whatever that's been trapped underneath this skin for ages gone by.
Last I checked, blog entry was 2005. 2 years ago, wow. That says a lot. + the manner that I used to type, and all that swearing (omfg, anyone?) made be look so juvenile... Not that I would be keen to take them back. My childhood or teenhood, is so precious to me. But, oh, how much does college change you? For me, apparently, a whole lot.
It's 2nd July 2007 and I'm a junior-TO-BE at SH. Academics are coming along ... okay, Ima trying to work harder to improve my GPA this summer. Been working on my tennis as well of course. Tennis first, studies later! Mom will kill me if she hears that. I've to instill more determination and discipline when the new sch year begins. Putting in my utmost, but yet learning to balance a healthy social life is pivotal to enhancing my overall college experience. I would love to look back 2 years from now and smile. I'm thankful for the friends I have made there, but of course I miss my friends from highsch here in NY, ALL THE TIME, who are, as you might already know, are scattered all about the country, leading their exciting college lives.
The summer's been extremely enriching. Meeting the girls again and seeing my family tells me that's why life is so worthy to live for. And that no matter how things turn rotten, I can look back and smile. And be SO contented that I have a healthy support system right behind me should I trip or fall along the way.
In dorm news, I shifted from a single to a double this summer. My roommie is this sweet girl named Sandra, who's from LA. Hopefully we'll be closer friends soon. I've heard horror roommate stories from loads of friends, across the states but from the looks of it, Sandra is nothing close to hell. I hope! =P
I'm going to check in right now, and will maybe come back tmr with. The summer's winding down and I will leave for SH sometime early nx wk. Have a good night y'all. =-]
