so i am back home again for a while. school was good and a lot has happened.
first: i am now alto section leader of northeastern chorus, which is pretty fucking sweet. i just got the email this morning, and ive drempt about it and i feel proud of myself for being able to do it.
second: we got an appartment! marissa and got one and it is going to be wonderful and a dream. ALTHOUGH. at first it was devastating. here is our sob story:
so marissa and i and chuck and adam meet with a dude who shows us this INCREDIBLE unbelievable apartment. this realty guy was actually on co-op from northeastern, so he was crazy and laid back and showed us this place on a beautiful monday afternoon. first of all, it was a DUPLEX. two floors of awesome. only 1900 a month for two HUGE bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a giant living room, and a giant eat in kitchen that is so huge, you could attach another living room to it. it was on the most beautiful street in boston with acess to the backyard and it was just gorgeous. so we immediately picked it up and went back to the realty place and gave them a check and paper work and it was OURS.
but it was not to be.
as soon as we got back to adams, we get a call and turns out someone had already put down a check on friday to get it, but the landlord never called the realty place so they had been showing it all weekend when it was already GONE.
but all was not lost.
we were able to get our second choice place which is still sick and a lot cheaper with an extra room that we are turning into the ZEN room which will have a matress on the floor and itll be the coolest room ever.
third: so fucking glad this semester is over. ended up doing horribly in finance....gonna have to take that class over again. got a job with boston consulting group, which is sick. i got the ge job too, but i decided the bcg job had a lot of better benefits, and overall a better job and culture.
so thats whats been up. i head back to boston july 1st, and then im there....forever, basically. im really excited for that.
