Holidays
Well I've been particularly crap at updating since being on holiday, the combination of entertaining family and reduced internet access and laziness is responsible. It's been good - weather ok for the UK and very low tides have made for great fun rockpooling. It's debatable who has been more excited at the variety of our catches, me or the children.
When I first got down here I met up with a couple of old school friends which was fantastic. We've met up for each of the last 3 years after not seeing each other for years before that. Afterwards my dad and stepmother stayed for a few days. Again, lovely, but dear God, the bickering. The stress of not telling them to shut up, nor weighing in on my dad's side, gets to me - I can almost feel my tongue getting sharper listening to them.
