Sitting and doing nothing just like I always dreamt of doing.

Well technically, that's incorrect.  I'm checking my MySpace, listening to music, trying to get in touch with a customer, washing the towels, and writing.  But I am not:
-at summer school or studying for it
-working at Gap
-working at Vector or
-working on the yard/house.
At least for the time being.

I'm quitting Vector, either this week or next week.  It really isn' t that bad of a job, but it would be considerably better if I had more customers (preferably with more money), I didn't drive all over town to see the few customers I have and fill my tank up every 5 days, and I didn't have another job.  It isn't a scam, for those of you who were wondering.  It's just not the greatest job ever.  I have to quit after I order my dad's father's day gift, though (it's a fishing knife).  I could complain about work for a while, but that will just make me sad, so lets move on...

Money is tighter this summer than ever.  But maybe that's because it's my first summer with a car, school payments, a desire for a sassier wardrobe, a boyfriend, a large number of out-of-town friends, and a concert coming up with the band I'd sell myself on the black market for (Mindless Self Indulgence).

At least life isn't terrible.  Chris and I are doing okay, and I've spent time with a couple of friends lately.   Last week was absolute hell with Chris out of town, a ton of running back and forth between jobs, and wearing uncomfortable heels, ultimately granting me a strong desire to throw myself into the nearest incinerator.  This week, I'm doing much better because I've learned how to avoid my boss' phone calls ("bad reception") and say that  I can't set appointments up with anyone (which is true).  I have a little more time to spend swimming and watching television.

Good news: Smashing Pumpkins' new CD comes out in July.  I could die from happiness (just ask Chris how loud I screamed in his ear when I heard the band was reforming).  Technically, it's just Billy Corgan and the drummer from the original band, but "Tarantula" kicks ass and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
