Life Catch Up

Rin and I had a wonderful week in Las Vegas. We only got on each other’s nerves occasionally. We spent a lot of time talking, talking, and talking. I think we finally caught up on everything that occurred over the past nine months. We stayed on Fremont Street, went to a couple of shows, gambled a little, ate a lot, walked miles, visited the strip (and photographed ugly casino carpets), and drank a fair amount. Overall, it was a great vacation.

Hubby, is now working 30 hours a week at AutoZone, and he is doing very well. In fact, the store manager keeps trying to convince him to work full-time. We’ll see how that one goes. The truck engine is a million pieces in the garage. Hopefully, he finishes rebuilding it before the snows start.

My job is going well. The only problem with the job is it is in Utah, which is BORING. I know that the downtown Salt Lake City area has a nightlife, but by the time I get home, I’m pooped. Sooooo, no nightlife for us, sigh.

We’ve invited the neighbors, and some co-workers to come over for Thanksgiving. Thus far, I have about four or five tentative yeses. It’s hard to plan for “tentatives.”

Shush has the run of the house. He and the cats have made peace, and seldom ever bother each other any more. This makes life much more peaceful, except, the bed gets really crowded with all of us in/on it at night *LOL*.

We’re trying to get our girlfriend to come visit in January. We both miss her, and would love to hear her giggle!

More later, I promise!
