Head on straight
I’ve had my head on more or less straight this week. I’m disappointed that I have not had the discipline to write this week. I have been involved in an e-mail list talking about [un]intelligent design. It is mostly a waste of time but I get hooked by the conservatives on this list. They say these stupid things that I want to shoot down, but it always takes a lot more energy than I intend.
I have had a couple of calls recently on job things but nothing has firmed up. I told one company that it might be four to six weeks before I was available and that seems to have moved me to the bottom of the priority list; if so, it probably means that I don’t’ want to work there because their priorities are screwed up already.
