And The Card Attached Would Say: "Thank You For Being A Friend..."

I would like to truly thank everyone who commented kindly, or commented in any way, on my past few posts.  I swear to God that when I pump out all the whoah-is-me negativity that I am not pandering for niceties, but they are warmly welcomed regardless, as are advice and reality checks.  And in all actuality I am not the doom-clouded self-loather that I sometimes come off as I do on this thing, I just happen to generally be in that mood at the time of my postings.  Credit that to the fact that I am most likely at work when I am using this, which is sort of like being trapped in a hurricane-stricken city during a terrorist attack.  Okay, not that bad, but you catch my drift.  But anyway, you all rock and I thank you again.  It's been a big help, really.

By the way... what does everybody do for work, exactly?  By work, I mean specifically the task you perform that provides your main, reliable source of income.  I get bits and pieces of understanding from all your posts, but I am generally curious as to what y'all do exactly.  And while we're on the subject, does anyone actually like their job?

PS-- I rent mailing lists for an in-house publishing company.  You have no idea what an exiting and rewarding career this is.  Really, you don't...

lj, work
