Crazies & Crusaders

Fairly tired today-- quite busy at work, for a change.

Still haven't heard anything about the co-op.  How long is this going to take, seriously?  If I get fucked over on this again I will cry, have a tantrum and crumble into a little ball.

I was seriously pissed this morning.  The A train was dragging its ass again, and to make matters worse there was this crazy bitch on my car who was flailing around and mouthing soundless curses.  She was starting to get dangerously close to this tired-looking lady with a baby harnessed to her bosom, but by the time I finally was able to flee the train no harm had yet transpired.  I swear, if I would've seen that lunatic harm that baby I would have clocked her right in the face and I don't think I could've been faulted for it.  I have sympathy for the crazies, I really do. But unlike suburbanites or small city folk, New Yorkers are forced for a few moments of their daily lives to exist in small spaces with these mentally-ill people, who by very nature of their mental illness cannot be tolerated by the sane while in closed quarters.  So basically it's a free-for-all in some of these situations.

And I'm getting damn sick of these Anti-Smoking Crusaders at work.  If I can't smoke in their faces, they shouldn't be able to preach in mine.

Argh.

atrain, co-op
