Driving
So, I had my first spell behind the wheel of a motor car today. Never been there before, and it was fun, in a scary sort of way.
What I could not get out of my head, was the fact that I was in a residential area, controlling (barely) a ton of steel. Any lapse had the potential to kill someone.
Now, this is not a new idea - learning to shoot a gun is scary and has the potential to kill, but a gun is SUPPOSED to kill things. I was stress sweating over driving a CAR. Jeez.
Then I remembered that every idiot I know of, can drive. Double digit IQ knuckle-dragger's who spit when they speak and don't know how to set up a PC without setting it on fire, have mastered this skill that I am attempting to learn.
So, a bit tired, but dammit, I will not be overtaken in a skill by idiots. No way.
