Game recap

Um. Well. Not precisely what I was expecting. Pittsburgh completely shut down Griffin's run game (6 carries for 8 yards?), he logged his worst QBR of his career (72.8) and the wide receivers got a case of the dropsies not seen in quite a while. Cooley was only targeted once. Kyle's bright idea for a trick play was to send RG3 out on a fly pattern, and he gets flagged for offensive PI. And the less said about DeAngelo's little meltdown, probably the better.

Plus, I'm glad I didn't put that money down on the Over. Wow.

I suppose the one bright spot is this: RG3's worst QBR of his professional career is a 72.8. That, right there, ladies and gentlemen: that's our boy.

Dust yourselves off, boys. And do it quick, because the Giants are now 6-2 and 3 games ahead of us in a division that will, in all probability, not be sending a wild card team to the playoffs. Next week we host Carolina, who are currently 1-6 and tied for the worst record in the league; if we drop that one, I'm going to start considering this season another write-off.
