I am SO EXCITED. Anthony and I are heading onwards to Portland this September. I don't know yet if I can bring my bike, but if I can that will be the best ever.

Where do you book the Amtrak? I've tried to arrange it from Vancouver to Seattle or Portland without much success. I figured that it would be the best way to get down there.

I think it's only in the States? So you'd have to cross the border first? Even if that weren't the case, it's way cheaper to do in-States travel (same goes for planes). Cheap bus to the states via Quickshuttle.

I booked my tickets on the american website, yep. You have to get to Bellingham or Seattle to catch the train right now... i just paid online and printed off the verification page and picked my tickets up at the station.

hey dude,

I forgot about a damn work obligation (I'm learning how to ride a bike in traffic and getting certified that I know such a thing. HAH.) so here I am in Vancouver.... and bummmmmmed. Some friends of mine are supposed to pick it up over the weekend and bring it back to Vancouver for me :P so I'll keep you posted!
