I figured it like this. Since he's usually so happy-go-lucky, Jared probably just gets quiet and withdrawn when he's sick. Since Jensen is the more reserved one of the two, I figure medication makes him a little loopy, therefore bringing out his inner diva. *nods*

This one rocked! I was killing myself when Jared brought the stuff to Jensen and especially "Here is a banana to tide you over until dinner, or shove up your ass, your choice." Rofl!
I loved too how sweet they were when Jensen was apologising to sleepy Jared.
