I HOPE SO TOO- and to play the Marshwiggles! I loved them so much in the books- they are so the original emo characters in such a loltastic way!

Somehow, I have no doubt that they will pick a PERFECT Puddleglum. It's Rilian I'm concerned about, because right now, am still not sold on their choice for movie!Caspian (yeah, I'm awful :p).

Ooh, and the Green Lady too! I'm imagining that she's going to be alluring- not in an icy-cold Jadis way but in a poisonous way. This next movie's gonna have some cool roles to cast!

See, I started reading these books very young (I'm guessing I was around seven when I got addicted) and the illustrations in my set were how I saw those characters for A LONG TIME, so it was a bit weird at first seeing the movie versions for all of them. (Jadis had BLACK hair in mine for crying out loud.) It's the accent with Ben Barnes that throws me as much as anything- head!canon Caspian for me never did, you know?

And YES the green witch is all seduce-y in the books in a way that Jadis definitely isn't. Hope they don't make her trashy/trampy at all though.

And don't forget Jill! She better be so take no nonsense attitude. ;)

Funny enough, Lucy has dark hair in the illustrations when she's described as being golden-haired.:p My head!canon Edmund was blonde for a long time but yow, movie!Edmund is taking over more and more. Also, my head!canon Eustace is dark-haired. Illustrations, man. They can really take hold of impressionable young minds (the Animorphs cover models? Yeahhhh, those are my kids forever.)

Also, head!canon Caspian is good-humored, dangit! Am not digging how scowly Ben Barnes looks most of the time. But who knows,in this movie. He's certainly got some of Caspian's arrogant side...he just better not make it ALL arrogance!

She's young and beautiful, which actually, makes her even scarier as a villain!

Ahhh! *can't believe she didn't mention Jill* I LOVE HER SO HARD. My favorite female Narnia character, hands down. <3

Blonde Lucy? Well maybe having the kids be two blondes and two brunettes actually *does* sound familiar...I so need to do a "grown up" full series reread to pick up all those little things I don't remember :D

Jill is badass. The trio of main characters in The Silver Chair just played off of each other so well...

I ENTIRELY blame The Bobbsey Twins and The Hardy Boys and Sweet Valley for ingraining me with 'older siblings=brunette, younger siblings=blonde'.

Yep, in the illustrations, Edmund is the only one who is blonde. In the books, Susan is described as black-haired, Lucy is described as golden-haired. And then at the Tashbaan procession in HHB, Edmund is described as 'the leader of the fair-haired men'. Lol the things that stick to me!

Could there BE a more perfect foil for Eustace? And then Puddleglum balances both kids' feisty personalities with his Marsh-wiggle gloom, lol.

Wow. Then even the old school BBC (I think?) VHS series for Narnia are wrong, I believe. Go figure.

Marsh-wiggles are possibly my favorite Narnian group :D
