Ass-butt, heehee. Who comes up with those weird meme-words?

I want you to talk about: William Miller/Lux Lisbon (YES!), the Black family, road trips, Overidentifying with fictional characters, Skins, Arthurian legends, and Cassidy Casablancas.

Because I have this fantasy of you in twenty years writing a book about Edmund. I do not know why I have this fantasy, but I do. Perhaps it's a crossover with something else in public domain. Perhaps not. But it's you and it's Edmund and it's awesome.

I WOULD READ THE HELL OUT OF YOUR EDMUND/JILL FIC.

You’re too awesome :D …That comment may’ve just woken some sleeping plot (or okay drabble, but that’s good too!) bunnies.
(What do you think of Edmund/Liesel Meminger from the Book Thief? XD I don’t know how to get a German girl into England or an English boy into Germany post-war but…I wanna!)

I think the Narniaverse now ‘belongs’ to CS Lewis’s godson. I don’t know if that affects it’s public domain copyright.

I have never been able to read the actual book for this very reason.
That book is ridiculously long because of all those rambles. Pages and pages of the Battle of Waterloo…to learn that Mr. Thenardier fished Mr. Pontmercy out of a pit. In the LAST FEW PARAGRAPHS!

ME NEITHER. I've seen the last few episodes and like them, but I have zero desire to watch the bulk of the season. Zero. Let's not watch it together, okay?

I didn’t even stick around for the resolution of the Hearst rapist storyline because I wanted to end it on a happy, fuzzy-feeling-inducing Veronica and Logan and Keith moment. Oh, I skipped ahead to some scenes in the subsequent episodes (because I wanted to see Dick chew out his dad, check out how Weevil and Mac were doing etc.) but I didn’t actually *watch* them.

But I support your love of them!

I love hearing that! :D You know, my big, epic love for those guys is the reason why I refuse to crush the heart of any young Justin Bieber or JoBro fangirl. Because who knows, in the coming years, those girls might be watching ‘their’ boys settle down and have babies and grow up musically/emotionally, just like ‘mine’ did.

I SHIP FANDOM/TVTROPES!

Though I am, inexplicably, more of a Dean girl. Possibly part of this is because I am not a fan of Jared Padaleki and there's the whole I-hate-him-on-Gilmore Girls thing.
Oh, I’m also more of a Dean girl! Deadpan Snarkers are the way to my heart.

Funny story: I had a semi-‘grudge’ on *both* actors because of Jared on Gilmore Girls and because of Jensen playing the cardboard love interest of my least favorite Smallville character.

As a completely irrelevant side note, I really want you to watch The West Wing so you can obsess over it with me. Do you have any interest in doing so?
I got really intrigued by your reaction post because you were talking about all these characters and character relationships and smart-talk and banter but…how politic-ky is it? Is it ‘teaching the audience how this runs’ or ‘audience is expected to know this shit already!’?

Oooh! Good choices! I'll get to it soon!

OH MY GOODNESS. OH MY GOODNESS. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I WOULD DIE OF HAPPINESS IF YOU WROTE EDMUND/LEISL. THERE ARE NO WORDS.

I've always loved the musical and been fond of a few movie versions of Les Mis I've seen (Hans Matheson as Marius? YES PLEASE), so I decided to read the book one summer. Yeah, I didn't get more than a chapter or two into because YOU CAN'T EVEN FIND THE STORY. I think I'm gonna read the abridged version and not be ashamed about that.

Awww! That's so cute!

I SHIP IT, TOO!

I love me some Deadpan Snarkers. I aspire to be one, but I'm not as witty as they usually are.

I've never really been into Smallville, so thankfully I missed the Jensen grudge. But yeah, I HATE Dean-from-GG.

That's a great question about TWW. I imagine there would be some stuff you'd miss, but I think that overall it does a good job of explaining things without getting bogged down in exposition. A lot of my British friends love it, and we have very different systems. Plus, I know little about how politics actually work, but I'm rarely at sea.

But the heart of the show is the characters and their relationships and their wordplay. I think you'd really enjoy it. And if you needed to ask me anything, you could. :D Plus, you can always pause it and look things up online. I haven't had to do that, though I was prepared to.

(Also, I want someone else to be as obsessed with Sam/Ainsley as I am. I always want to convert someone else to my ships.)
