put your hands up in the air!

The Cure announced they're coming to Toronto on August 9th! I am so excited! This summer is shaping up to be tons of fun.

So Friday was formal and it all seemed to fly by in a huge blur. We all met at Giggling Tomatoes for lunch, and then the girls headed over to House of Mann to get our hair done. After our hair, Ruth, Leslie and myself went over to the Body Shop and got our makeup done. I picked up my dress from Sam and was so happy with it. She really did a fabulous job. There was more crazy rushing around to get ready but everything finally came together. Justin and I met everyone at Ching and took a bunch of photos (the parents love their cameras).
After photos, Andrew, Megan, Justin and I drove over to La Perla. Everyone looked so pretty and I found it hard to believe that we actually had got this close to nearing the end of high school. Anyways, despite the crappy food from last year, formal was lots of fun. Lots of dancing, too many photos, and our waitress spitting in the vegetables were all fun times.

We all left formal pretty early, around 1030 and headed back to brampton to get ready to leave for kingston. The best part was when andrew broke into aaron tran's house and his dog went nuts. We managed to find darryl's house in the darkness, and stumbled in around 3:30 am. We did a bit of drinking and dancing but everyone was really tired so we all just headed to bed.
After the most uncomfortable sleep of my life, I got up around 11:30 am and everyone soon followed after that. We split into two groups, and ruth, leslie, megan, andrew, gabe and myself headed to downtown kingston. We had a much needed all-day breakfast, and then did a little window shopping that ended in gabe buying a new pair of jeans.
After some more relaxing, we all walked down to the water. The boys ended up walking out along all the rocks, while the girls ventured downtown again and got some homemade ice cream. We sat by the water and it was so nice, what a perfect day.
At night, more fun and drinks were had. It was a crazy night that resulted in Aaron sleeping on darryl's roof and JP and luke disappearing for an hour.
Sunday morning we headed back home, but not before stopping at the Big Apple where we met a llama and chased some fat rabbits around.
All in all it was a wonderful wonderful weekend and a great way to end off high school.
