Being called into court to get my AoA. More on that in a bit.
So I had offered my services as a cook for the Bhakail Yule event. Had a great time and learned a few things to remember for next time - remember to plan drinks for dayboard! The kitchen ran wonderfully, even with a slow start and a late opening of dayboard. I apologize to everyone for that. From what I can tell, from comments and the fact there was almost nothing left, people liked the food. I had my ego inflated a bit as the princess came to the kitchen to give complements for my hummus. Seems she loves the stuff, so I ended up giving her the recipe.
So as the kitchen crew started working on the feast, court was called and I was told to make sure Bran and Efa were in court to receive their Salamander awards. They left for court with no prompting, which meant I should have stayed in the kitchen to keep an eye on things. ubiq31 had other instructions. He was to make sure I was in court to get my AoA. The third time he sent me back up to court I knew there was something going on, but my head was so wrapped up in what needed to be done in the kitchen, I almost didn't heard my name called. I think Dazed is the right word to use.
