Limited Internet!
We are getting new High Speed Wireless Internet installed @ home on Monday morning!
We got rid of the over priced, under serviced GCI Cable internet package & have a new phone from ACS (the actual phone company) and no more Cable TV!!!!
GCI will only give you unlimited internet IF you buy their complete internet package. We do not watch that much TV & with cable phone service, if the power goes out, so does the phone service. Since we have installed a power/freeze/water alarm to let us know if there is a problem with the house, not having a working phone would not be helpful!
Plus every thing that we watch is available online, and we watch movies from Netflix, and can catch up on the few shows we might watch on their websites or HuLu... Why pay $170 per month just to get internet? We will not have AC Wireless for $50 & a phone for $20. The extra $100 will go towards life insurance!
Well, anyways, we will be online again next week... Sorry if I missed any important LJ posts (I get Facebook & MySpace updates on my Cell Phone)...
Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day (aka Mat's Day of Death) & I will catch up on the interwebs next week...
Oh, for anyone who is not on MySpace of Facebook... Liz got the job in Sweden & unless something much better comes along, we will be moving there for 2 years next summer!!!!!
