Amusing thing of the day: an article in the Guardian about the sterling efforts of the Irish legal system to get rid of all the bizarre old laws that nobody uses but which are still technically in force.

My own favourites from these now-repealed laws are:

Well, I only hope that they don't become a craze before next year. If everyone had a cheap knock-off aubergel, they'd be a lot less desirable...

hi! i just came across your website and loved the hp version of the rumours album cover. one thing though, you totally forgot the balls. mick fleetwood would be so upset.

Ha, it was a while since I drew that picture, but I seem to remember trying to get those balls in, and eventually leaving them out because they were more hassle than they were worth. ;-)

what the heck is an aubergel? Doesn't show up in the dictionary. also, I want a hauberk for my birthday. Don't know if I'd be able to walk wearing one, but I still want it.

According to the full article, an aubergel is similar to a hauberk, so I imagine you can only wear one at a time, anyway...
