How to conquer Europe without really trying
Here's a Pottery thing that cheered me. I just got an out-of-the-blue email from a bookstore in Italy, saying that they held an event last week to celebrate the launch of the Italian edition of HBP, and to decorate the store, they printed out a load of my HP modern art pictures, framed them and hung them on the wall.
It was sweet of them to send me the pic, and it also feels a bit peculiar. I suppose it's because I know in an abstract way that people like my art and whatnot, because they tell me so (which is nice), but it's still a surprise to see it somewhere in the Real World. Gosh. It really is a global village out there, non é vero?
