It's nobody else's fault (so don't do it)
Unfortunate-but-hilarious headline of the week, courtesy of the BBC: Hampshire workmen paint white lines around dead badger.
If you click on the link (warning: contains blurry picture of squashed furry roadkill), you can see that the workmen in question basically just stopped painting and started again. Admittedly, the Turner Prize has been won with less. Nonetheless, I must admit that I was a teensy bit disappointed that they didn't go for a more CSI-inspired approach, and produce a work that more closely resembled the following artist's impression by me:
In less bloodthirsty but equally unsophisticated news, it's taken me this long to find out about the existence of the most amusingly named football team in the world. Fortunately they are a Peruvian team, not an English one, otherwise things might get very confusing when people started to heckle the referee...
