Literary icons (and other things that I am not)

Yes folks, it's Random Icon-Posting Time. Who'd have thought it?

In the interests of flexing my rusty creative muscles, I've been spending a bit of time messing about with Photoshop Elements, which I usually only use for colouring in and the occasional half-baked cut-and-paste gag. I decided I needed a mini-project to help me explore, and thus it was that I came to make the following icons.

For your reading pleasure, each one has been adorned with a quote from the works of my very favourite copiously bearded Canadian writer, Robertson Davies, as a small demonstration of the fact that he is ace and people should read more of his books, oh yes.

(Quotes are from the following books: A Voice from the Attic: 01; The Cornish Trilogy: 12, 14, 16, 24, 27; The Deptford Trilogy: 11, 23; The Papers of Samuel Marchbanks: 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26; The Salterton Trilogy 02, 03, 10, 15.)

Feel free to take them if you should happen to want them! And be aware that icons that feature drawings by me instead of writings by other people are shuffling slowly down a pipeline near you...
