Dragonlords a-leaping

Polish your vambraces, practise your mystic muttering and make sure you've had your five anachronistic vegetables of the day, because it's the season finale of Merlin.

Here are some thoughts on The Last Dragonlord... )

I am actually really sad that Sir Leon is dead. Good-looking speaking-part person down, and no Lancelot in sight! Boo!

Boo also to the episode. I thought it was quite dull, apart from a few very cute facial expressions from Merlin (the bit where he hesitated for ages before saying "sleep well, father"!) and a bit of cute not-really-friends banter from Merlin and Arthur. But I must say I am heartily sick of them tiptoeing around the big revelation. I mean, "I care a hell of a lot about that armour", come on. ;)

I shall be watching next year anyway, but I must say I am losing interest more and more. Not in your posts though, which are always hilarious. :)

They can't have too many good-looking blokes in the background, it seems. It's probably in Arthur's contract that none of his knights should detract attention from his own loveliness.

I am still enjoying it, but I do wish they'd get on with some PLOT once in a while. How hard can it be? Harder than trudging past the same five trees every week, apparently...

BTW, did you see that DT episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks? I larfed and larfed and larfed.

I did indeed. Catherine Tate's drunken overexcitement was hilarious, and then a bit annoying, and then hilarious again.

Thank you for the Christmas prezzie, btw - it arrived yesterday!

Yay, glad it arrived on time! Happy Christmas. Hope you're having a good time oop North. I'm off to Paris tomorrow morning, back on the 30th. So I guess I won't get around to watching DW till after I return, damn. ;)

What I enjoyed a lot about NMTB was how much DT obviously loves CT. It was very sweet. Oh, and I adored Bernard Cribbins.
