Dragonlords a-leaping

Polish your vambraces, practise your mystic muttering and make sure you've had your five anachronistic vegetables of the day, because it's the season finale of Merlin.

Here are some thoughts on The Last Dragonlord... )

his propensity to fall unconscious just when there's important plot exposition going on

Aw, thank you. Perhaps Merlin should take to carrying a large mallet and bopping Arthur over the head with it in a Wile E. Coyote fashion, whenever he needs to discuss important secret stuff.

XD LOL. In all seriousness though, Arthur should have brain damage by now.

'Will return' is super hopeful BBC-speak! *nods*

I was rather disappointed in how few knights there were manning the battlements. Ah - budgets....

Arthur is also flame-proof as he wasn't even slightly singed from the big fire breathing bit just before he fainted (again!) - you really can't just duck if a dragon is breathing fire at you and survive. At the very least he would have been missing an eyebrow.

I shall miss the small speaking part people..... :(

I'm guessing that Arthur's stylish hair is immune from fire damage. Perhaps he uses anachronistic asbestos hair gel or something?

OK, I just wanted to tell you that I cracked up reading your post. The whole thing had me in giggles until my throat hurt. Wish list for S3: I hope Sir Leon comes back somehow and that Arthur finally finds out about Merlin (if only so he doesn't have to be knocked out all the time).

Glad you were entertained. Maybe Sir Leon will come back as his own twin brother or something - I strongly suspect that neither Uther nor Arthur can recognize most of their own knights, anyway!

A larf-fest as usual! And as we are actually in Cardiff at the moment, Wifey and I got to the episode on the telly, instead of watching it The Other Way.

Didja happen to catch Colin & Bradley's Road Trip to Figure out if Arthur and Merlin Really Existed on BBC2? It was most fun watching them tooling around Wales and being late for everything.

I did indeed see the charmingly inept documentary, or as it should have been named, Colin and Bradley Can't Be Trusted With Anything That Involves Timing, Bless Them.
