While wandering around town today, I couldn't help but notice a lot of prominent posters advertising the new menswear collection from Benetton. Pay attention, gentlemen: apparently this is the cutting-edge look to aim for:
Yep, the balaclava helmet is back, back, back! Do Benetton truly believe that it will be embraced by the youth of today? I can see the point if you're going skiing or mountain-climbing or exploring the Antarctic, perhaps. But for casual lounging around town? Not so much. Let's face it, even the pretty model boys look like a right pair of dildos, so surely the average British man is going to run a mile? Nonetheless, I am not the arbiter of all style trends, so I thought I'd throw the matter open to the public.
