Get Your Monster Name

Haha, cooool. Although I am rather fond of those scientist types...

So I haven’t talked much about Australian Idol here. Thing is, I watch practically every episode, but I don’t actually care about it. I don’t care how the contestants perform each week. I don’t really care about who goes each week. Don’t really care about who wins at the end, come to think of it. But I still watch it. Purely mindless entertainment. I devote one hour every Sunday and Monday night, to sit down on the sofa and watch some rather mediocre singers perform almost weak covers.

This year, it’s down to three guys, Wes, Mark and Luke. Everyone champions Luke as the shearer from the country, the diamond in the rough, who is the “most improved“ performer they have ever had on the show. They do realize that he COULD sing before he was on the show, right? Wes is the network favourite, and is featured heavily in the ads. I liked him at the beginning of the show, because he picked good song (The Killers, U2) and was an amiable character. I think that now, he’s getting a bit old; he isn’t pulling anything stunning out. All the contestants should be doing spectacular performances now, so late in the competition, but they’re not. It kinda sucks. I like Mark. He has an interesting voice, but often has these really sad eyes, which is a bit… off, and kinda sad to see. I don’t know. He’s seems like generally cheerful guy, but he keeps picking these dark, emotional songs.

Hey, would you look at that. 200 words entirely about a show I couldn’t care less about. I just blogged about Australian Idol, oh my gosh. It’s shameful.

EDIT: Mark got kicked out. =(((((((( but I don't want the other two to win. *whinewhine*
/o\ And here I just said that I didn't care...
