So far I've been downloading the FOB songs that have been coming out in the lead up to Folie a Deux.
I've been taking them off sendspace, because I don't use i-tunes, and I fully intend on buying the album when it comes out. I have this thing for hard copy, real CDs. They have a certain substance to them, plus the bonus of lyrics and art. The art is one of the big drawcards for me. I've downloaded I Don't Care, Cooperstown, What A Catch, Donnie and America's Suitehearts. I love all of them, and while I Don't Care has been played a few too many times on the radio, I still have a soft spot for it. America's Suitehearts has been the one on repeat recently. FOLIE A DEUX FOLIE A DEUX FOLIE A DEUX oh my god I'm looking forward to it. Please don't disappoint, Fall Out Boy.
And in other news, I have gotten back to drawing.
I was having fun here drawing freehand with a felt tip marker, so a lot of lines were improvised, and probably not in the best spots. Then I attacked it with Faber Castel markers, and Crayola pencils.
This is a Boy. It started out as a Patrick!hat with a Pete!hoodie, but then morphed into a completely different person. He looks too tall.
And this is creepy vampire dude, who started out as a mouth and a nose, which is why the rest of the facial features are now so out of proportion. There was another girl standing next to him, as a separate picture, but once I drew the arm in, they overlapped, and seemed to fit together. I kinda regret colouring in the background with black, but I can deal.
I really need to use the scanner on a higher quality setting...
