I think this is Gerard. I like the angle, and the colours. Nice and peaceful.

Apparently this is Patrick Wolf cosplaying Lucius Malfoy. Patrick Wolf! Lucius Malfoy! His smile is so great. Speaking of Patrick Wolf, who is wonderful-- he's putting out a new album with guest vocals from Tilda Swinton a.k.a. the Wicked Witch from Narnia. How awesome! Although I don't really like Pitchfork.com all that much, I did like this bit- "Turns out Swinton and Wolf did not actually bond over their shared androgyny, translucent skin, and birdlike bone structure." \o/ Yay for attractive androgynous people.

(I am so not bothered to save and repost these pictures, although they would make my lj look mighty pretty.)

I only realised today that the whole "How do I begin to explain *insert name here*" meme is based off Mean Girls. I've seen it around so many times! To be fair, it's been a while since I last saw the movie. Mean Girls has spawned the best memes, oh my gosh.
~~

I saw this on foxxcub's lj and I'm basically saying what she said, but it bears repeating:

ALEX ZANE: Would it be fair to say you like your crime dramas?

TOM HARDY: No, that’s just what I get offered. I’m actually into romantic comedy and pantomime and things like that. Simple storytelling, simple happy-face people, that’s really what I’d like to do more.

ALEX ZANE: Okay. I can see that.

TOM HARDY: Charming people in cardigans. Who find love. And keep it.

ALEX ZANE: And look up at the sky at night and wonder about their place in the cosmos.

TOM HARDY: There you go.

ALEX ZANE: Ice skating at midnight …

TOM HARDY: There you go. Like London really is.

TOM HARDY HOW ARE YOU REAL? Charming people in cardigans who find love!? That's the perfect description of the perfect indie short film. Or movie. Or the entire schmoop_bingo challenge.  Rom-coms! This is Tom Hardy- who played EAMES in Inception. For one thing, wow, versatile actor, and for the other.... LOL.

This is Eames/ Tom Hardy.

You're welcome. (I tried putting a picture in! I think it ended up blurry though. Have forgotten how to use my photobucket account... maybe you should just go look him up on Google Images and appreciate.) Also:

Matt Patches: I think you summed that up perfectly when you called Joseph Gordon-Levitt, “darling.”

Tom Hardy: Yeah, yeah, I don’t think that was originally in the script.

Matt Patches: Really? That’s amazing. I was curious about the lighter, comedic elements in the movie, most of which stem from your character. Was in the script or if there was a lot of improvisation?

Tom Hardy: Mmm, ever so slightly. I would never stray from somebody’s script, absolutely not. Chris Nolan… every comma, punctuation mark, he designed it and it wasn’t  for me to go in there and reshape it. It’s a very large piece of machinery. The “darling” part was accidental. I came out with “darling” and we kept it in because it was funny, but we did plenty of them without “darling.” I felt comfortable on set…we were having fun. It’s very kind of him to have kept it in. We were having fun.
