3 day weekend
Yay, it's the Labor Day weekend! And I labored! As usual, I painted at G&L's yesterday and today. I like painting, even if it is kinda tiring. Didn't go to First Friday...Marie had band stuff (she's doing some marching band after all, but not the halftime shows)and plans with another friend and since I didn't know the hostess, I decided to just hang at home. Yesterday evening we (R&E&I) played some Tomb Raider (my game and E's) and generally just hung around. He and I are at the computer lab now while R is studying. Dunno what we're up to later. No work tomorrow, though!
R told me that Thurs. we were supposed to host a Pampered Chef thingy for Gina, but we haven't done anything towards it. If we could postpone, even a week, we could probably get some folks together. I knew it was in Sept. but didn't realize it was this week. We're in a quandry and a bit put off by it. I'd like to help out Gina, but neither of us are too thrilled about hosting. I guess we shouldn't have agreed to do one! Oh well, we'll figure something out.
