It's Today
Hmmm, I guess it's been a while since I updated...funny, it seems more recent than that. I've been listening to 'Jerry's Girls' a bunch lately (found the tape and thought 'haven't heard that in a while'), so I'm continuing in a showtune vein. (hence today's subject).
Yesterday was our anniversary!! :-) R got me flowers (which Marie delivered). We had french toast for breakfast and though we were at work, it was generally a good day. Dinner at India Palace (yum!) then a walk to Dillons to get some ice cream. Watched 'Oklahoma' (for some reason we just really love that movie...it's all love-y and sweet... and considering R doesn't much care for musicals, it's kinda odd. But it's nice for occasions like an anniversary. ::bounce bounce::
I won't get to have lunch until about 2 today 'cuz I have to work the frikkin' desk for 4 hours. Argh! I hate that we're having to do this, but I guess that's part of "access services" work. I didn't have to do it yesterday 'cuz Brenda and I traded, but at the time I didn't realize that would mean I'd be there so long. I guess it's not that bad...it's not like I'll be alone and for the most part it's not hard (I've just forgotten a lot of stuff beyond the basics that a supervisor should know). Ahhh well, I'm sure I'll live :-)
OH! Erik left a message for us last night 'singing' "Happy Anniversary" That was so sweet and so NOT Erik! I guess he likes us ::g::
