its a convention in a nutshell
well ok i go there thursday to the convention center and it was really cool all the booths and stuff. then i ran into some old friends. brian and austin. awesome guys. i talked to austin for the longest time too. then i went out to eat and then about an hour later got back to the convention center and walked around ih the exhibit hall and that was fun and tiring. :p hehe then i went to the adult main session and that was awesome. all those people you could see out across the arena. it was great. then after that i went back to the exhibit hall and saw brian and austin again. austin invited me to go to the arcade with him and the some of the other guys. i wanted to go so bad. so that nite i was really excited about the next day and thinking of how much fun i would have. hehe then i went to bed and the next morning, took a shower and got ready to leave on the bus to head to the convention center and i had to go to the big fancy hotel across from the center and i went up the escalaters and met up with some of them and we wanted for the others to get there. there was like 2 or 3 other girls that were going along with the 5 or 6 guys that were going. but anyways, after everybody got there including the sponsors, we went to the arcade and it was like 8 or 9 blocks from the hotel. i met a girl named jenna. she was real nice. she was jus a little younger then me. so we got to the arcade and ate pizza and then we played some of the awesomest games. i got to shoot dinosaurs, ride a harley, race in a nascar, and bunches of stuff. :o) i had a blast! then about 2pm we went back to the convention center and hung out in the exhibit hall and explored the center and we got to go in the basement and go backstage, but we got in trouble for that. but it was still a lot of fun. then we went to a smoothie shop and got you know what and mine was strawberry-banana. i love that kind. ahhh its so good. ;) hehe so anyways, then we left and i went back to my booth and went with my parents out to dinner and that was fun. got back and went to the teen main session and that was awesome. big band oh man! i wish i had pics to show you. they had the session in the big symphony hall. then it was about 10pm and i had to catch the bus back to the hotel and get some sleep. so i got to the hotel about an hour later and went straight to bed cuz i was so tired. next moring, i woke up, took a shower, got some b-fast and left on the bus again. got to the convention center and found the guys and hung out some then went to the teen morning session and that was again awesome stuff. sat way down front and i was rite by the speakers. oh man it was so loud in there. my ears were ringing after that session. then went to lunch with my family and my dad's boss. that was interesting. lol then after lunch met up with michael and jenna from the group and hung around them and then it happened. michael and jenna were holding hands and i was getting really sad/mad at the same time. i mean you know when one of your friends has a bf they sometimes go hang with him instead of him and you. most of the time it's because the bf wont let her, but that's another story. so jenna was telling me about the thing that happened in the cornfield and stuff that i jus went crazy and i ran to the women's bathroom and i slide down the bathroom wall and cried so hard and loud. i felt like jenna would totally forget i even existed and we were like best friends and that jus didnt make things better. so then after like 5 or 6 minutes i left. grabbed my things off the floor and ran down the stairs of the balcony and ran all the way to my booth. i cried more in front of my mom and she took me to another bathroom and she helped me calm down. then i went to jenna's hotel room and knocked really loudly, cuz by now she was at her hotel room getting ready to leave for dinner, so i knocked on the door and yelled "jenna, plz open up, its joy. we need to talk." in about two minutes she opens the door and we go into her parent's room and we sit on her parent's bed and we talked about michael and the whole sitch. jus before i had gone to her hotel room, i had ran into brian and his sister celeste and we talked about michael and he's liking jenna. that didnt go too well for me. i was crushed after we talked. then i about cried again. i was so scared about the whole thing with michael and jenna. ok now back to the hotel talk.
i told jenna want celeste had told me. michael was using jenna. when i told her that jenna wasnt very happy. she was pretty scared. she about cried too. this was one of the most emo times with my friends. the one thing that i remember her saying that really ment something to me was "i have only known you two days and i feel safer with you then my brother." i was so happy. it made me feel like i had acomplished what i was wanting to do. become close friends, but yet then i would see the day when i would have to hug her and say goodbye. that was so sad. we were having so much fun together. but then after we talked i could tell she felt tons better about the sitch. then that night she asked me to sit with her in one of the boxes in the symphony hall where the teen session was and i said i would. she wanted to stay as far away from michael as possible. i didnt blame her. he was so scary. but that night was the last teen session and they had a hardcore concert before they actually started the session. it was so much fun. then after that jenna and i walked back to the exhibit hall and we exchanged our email addresses and she left. that was the hardest thing i had to do that night was say goodbye.
