Well I've been posting a lot recently and mainly about boring stuff such as horses...sorry to those of you that bothered to read through those updates. This entry on the otherhand is almost entirely horse free.
I've decided housesitting is good for improving one's "how to live in the real world" skills. You have to cook for yourself, attempt to go to bed at a decent hour, you have responsibilities that you really can't just forget, stuff like that. Granted I made Jello yesterday just for the fun of it and then tried feeding it to the horses, didn't go over to well. Anyways I felt very grown up today.
My parents have also been really awesome about things of late, like a couple of months ago they wouldn't have let today happen. They still made me call afterwords but that was to make sure we didn't get killed riding.
Other thing brought to my attention today is that I have no fear of a 1200 lb animal that has broken my bones, bitten and kicked me on multiple occasions. I though about this later, and realized it might not be the worst thing if I was a little more scared...well maybe not scared but alert about the whole thing. I'm always safe, but probably a little more relaxed than I need to be.
Well I put the dogs to bed and fed the cats and horses. So I'm off to watch TV and then sleep and hopefully have wonderfully pleasant dreams.
