This is a twist on the Letter Meme. Instead of coming up with ten items for a certain letter, you come up with five song titles for a certain letter and explain why you picked them. If interested then leave a comment. I'll give you a letter. You post this blurb in your journal along with your list.
So I get the letter "K." Thanks Siege.
1. "Kryptonite." Honestly it's the first song I thought of. It reminds me of a guy I knew in college. No one knew he could sing, until you rode in his car with him and the secret was out. I'm telling you. People do weird things in their cars.
2. "Killing Me Softly" This was my friend Hillary's favorite song in the early '90s. I myself cannot STAND it, because she came to visit me for a week and played it over and over...and over...and over...and...
3. "Kiss This." Aaron Tippin. Well, if you know me, and you know the song, then you know why I love this song. If you're not totally sure, look up the lyrics and you'll get it.
4. "King of the Road." I thought of this song because of Seige talking about Mrs. Coleman. She didn't tell you about the zany Lucy Henry who taught middle school guitar classes. This was one that we learned.
5. "Kokomo." Lord, how I love the Beach Boys. Seriously, how much sexier can you get than that very first, "Aaaaaaruba, Jamaica..."?
