Love all the Atevi series, though I do think the writing is repetitive at times and in need of an editor. No one does alien cultures or human/alien interaction like Cherryh. And I'm sure Serge has told you that we met because of her.

I've left enough space between reading the books that they don't feel repetitive to me, and her aliens are breathtaking.

I think I have a vague memory of Serge saying something on ML, but I don't remember the specifics. Feel free to explain!
